Younity Birthwork (YB) is a network of doulas, midwives, and caregivers providing mothers and families the support they need to have a prosperous birth journey.
Younity Birthwork approached us with the request of a simple website. But we knew in our hearts what they were in need of was a brand. So we started with the logo and style language.

Understanding the original logo’s intent, we wanted to sustain the idea of support while including the values of inclusivity, community, and love.

We chose a earthy and gender neutral color palette to reinforce inclusivity and the community aspect of pregnancy and childbirth. It takes a village to support the mother and child, and we wanted them to feel seen.
We chose Ivy Soft Variable for the typeface. The rounded sans balances authenticity and awareness, allowing mothers and their family to feel welcomed in to a space that will be informative and caring.
Once we had the style and visual language revamped, we went to work on the website, incorporating the YB’s mission and values in every element.
Rebranding Younity Birthwork was more than another project for a client. It was a service to the community. Creating design, content, and messaging to empower and improve the lives of everyday people is what we and Kind Avenue live for.
